Garden Visitors

We have been busy trying to encourage some different guests into the garden.....

We have some house martins already nesting ...they seem happy enough even though we are currently painting the house! We have painted round them..:-)

This is the first box of many that we hope to place in the garden.
This one was a birthday gift for me from a neighbour ...






we will see what decides to move in....

It is great to see some of the old traditions being kept in the village ....

And everything is in bloom.....

I just love this time of year when everything is coming to life...
........and we begin again...

New beginnings

Although the garden looks a little crazy at the moment with all the plastic bottles it will not be long before these little beauties will be revealed!


Under each bottle a new rose...well 95% of them anyway.... which is a good result.





The new red currants are budding nicely.....



And finally some colour emerging!

Time to feed the birds!

Well the snow has started falling and it's time to get busy again....






All the feeders are out ....and with their new fat balls the birds are loving it!!!!
