Day 11

The weather has been beautiful again and so the builders have been making great progress.The roof is now complete.


















They have been busy skimming the walls, varnishing and making and attaching the first of the mosquito screens





It won't be long now....it should be finished by the weekend!!!!!

and they begin to treat and then varnish the wood......








And the passion flower has blossomed!!!!!!

Day 5 and 6

Well it is really starting to take shape now.We have had some rain that stoppped work for a while...but going well...

...

Day 4..on goes the roof!

Day 4, over 33 degrees all day and still they work from 8am to 5pm!
















End of day 4

'The Green Room' moves on .....

Day 3 and we have decided to rename our Summer House already to 'The Green Room'
The little rain we had last night didn't do too much harm and today the frame will go up.








Nasko, Emo and Petar are working hard.....







And the Pelicans flew over to take a look!

Day one of the building and Peggy goes out to cast an eye over the work.....

So much rain has fallen and it's been hard work getting the place looking something like normal again.The good thing though is everything is so green...wonderful!

Too late for 2 of the apricot trees that are in the street, they will have to be taken down.However the 4 year old tree is still good and produced 6 fruits this year!
















The new plum and cherry tres also survived the winter and have some fruit on them too...















The aubergines and courgettes have loved all the rain and are sarting to produce.
















And the gift from one of our guests Liz Hill, a passion flower ,is growing really fast now...thanks Liz!
