Harvest time -A garden update

Harvest time is here...seems so quick to have come around...

Everything seems ready all at once....
This year I have picked and frozen most of the peppers....




With the chillies I have dried them and they smell delicious....ready for the blender now












All the fruits are ready too...apples..blackberries ...raspberries and plums..
been busy making jam......



The garden is still looking lovely despite being so very, dry again.



They say rain for the next few days which will be wonderful...for all the plants and the wildlife....

Day at the beach......

While we were waiting for the pool to fill we did do some work.....
We took the old piece of the garden that used to have the pool on it and
tried turn it into a beach......

Then we took a well deserved break......

Moving in.....

The pool is almost full here.....and we have started decorating the room..






















Great at night ....watching old Hitchcock movies......

Just go to add the chemicals and set off the pump.....

Then in we go!

Well the inside is painted and the flooring is down!

It is so hot!!! 35 plus everyday so progress is a little slow....




















The Pool finally makes an appearance...and hopefully will have water in it very soon!!!

The garden is exceptionally beautiful this year.....All the guests are commenting upon it....so I thought I would picture it before it's gone.....

Last night they came round to be the first guests inside the 'Green Room'

It's really lovely, better than we imagined!







Now our work begins..painting and decorating the inside.....
